A few things separate a villa that genuinely works for a family from one that just looks good in photos.
Bedroom layout matters more than bedroom count. Six bedrooms scattered across three floors with narrow stairs isn't the same as a villa with ground-floor access for grandparents and a separate wing for teens. Ask about the actual layout, not just the number.
The kitchen has to be a real kitchen. With a group this size, you're cooking. A lot. Counter space, a stove that can handle more than two pots at once, enough plates and silverware that you're not running the dishwasher three times a night these things matter more than they sound like they would.
Outdoor space isn't optional. Kids need somewhere to burn energy that isn't a hotel hallway. A dock, a yard, a pool somewhere the group can spread out without leaving the property.
Proximity without chaos. Everyone in one villa, sure, but a layout that still lets someone slip away for a nap or a phone call without feeling like they're abandoning the group.
